'being jesus' by james burke-dunsmore

St Benedict 21/02/2012 @ 7pm - The Carmel Centre at St Edmunds Catholic School, Old Charlton Road, Dover, Kent, CT16 2QB
For 12 years James has had the privilege of portraying Jesus Christ in theatre, television and radio. He acts and directs for some of the largest theatre productions in our country, including Wintershall’s Life of Christ , Leicester’s Christ in the Centre and The passion of Jesus in Trafalgar Square, Guildford and Brighton.

Throughout the years he has been invited to talk about his experiences, and to hold theatre workshops for both children and adults. These workshops are an opportunity to enjoy working with a professional actor/director, and to experience how exciting it can be to explore and understand more fully the teachings of Jesus through the art of theatre.

With in-depth role-play and discussion he helps groups of people to explore simple but essential questions about Jesus, and discover more of the origins, context and meanings of his teachings.

This community talk is open to the general public, we hope many of you will be able to join us. James wil be speaking from 7pm on Tuesday 21st February 2012. Click here to download event poster.
